Plantation Cafe @ Green Lane Bowral

We enjoyed our coffee and desserts here after lunch. The environment is very cosy and quiet. The orange and walnut cake, and apple crumble, were very tasty. Staff are very nice and even helped to bring water for our dog.

Lovely in every respect - location, ambience, food, service. We enjoyed our first visit to Plantation Cafe for breakfast on a Sunday morning in May 2026. There are multiple locations to sit - both indoors and outdoors. The decor is so nice. The food was well presented and delicious. Plenty of options for vegetarians like me too. We would be happy to come again.

Atmosphere and vibes are second to none—every corner feels like a page from a storybook. The book displays are a feast for the senses, warm, inviting, and effortlessly aesthetic. Came for brunch and had the French omelette with sourdough—cheesy and savoury—and a delicious cappuccino. Overall, a lovely café, perfect for photos and catching up with family and friends.

We went there for a brunch on Tuesday, it’s very busy already. We were lucky enough to get the seats. The atmosphere was excellent, service was great, the food was delicious and generous, however the price was a bit expensive. We ordered the prawn rolls, chicken sandwich, corn beef sandwich and the beef pies.

Dined at this cafe for a heavy breakfast. Initially came for the aesthetics and fair price, but what won us over was the food. My friend and I had the Big Breakfast and the Buttermilk Pancake Stack respectively, and they were both delicious. The pancake in particular was crisped on the outside but inside were nice and fluffy. The perfect doneness. The hot chocolate was also rich and decadent. Would absolutely go there again!
