Plantation Cafe @ Green Lane Bowral

We enjoyed our coffee and desserts here after lunch. The environment is very cosy and quiet. The orange and walnut cake, and apple crumble, were very tasty. Staff are very nice and even helped to bring water for our dog.

We went there for a brunch on Tuesday, it’s very busy already. We were lucky enough to get the seats. The atmosphere was excellent, service was great, the food was delicious and generous, however the price was a bit expensive. We ordered the prawn rolls, chicken sandwich, corn beef sandwich and the beef pies.

Dined at this cafe for a heavy breakfast. Initially came for the aesthetics and fair price, but what won us over was the food. My friend and I had the Big Breakfast and the Buttermilk Pancake Stack respectively, and they were both delicious. The pancake in particular was crisped on the outside but inside were nice and fluffy. The perfect doneness. The hot chocolate was also rich and decadent. Would absolutely go there again!

Really enjoyed this cafe whilst visiting Bowral for the first time, loved the ambience and decor of the space. The big table down the middle of the cafe adding a great vibe with lots of plants. The wall book was interesting and added a worldly feel to the cafe. I ad the bacon and egg burger which was delicious and my companion had the ham and cheese croissant which they really enjoyed. Coffee was great as was the selection of bakery goods, which we will try next time.

Such an amazing place! We stumbled across this place totally randomly and boy, I was so stunned! The interior is so beautiful, bookshelves and plants 😍 Only the inside feels a little too small when too many people are there and I was so worried they will not find our table to deliver the food 🙈 But the food - the food is soooo good! The chef knows how to use spices, it’s a delight to taste anything there. I hope we come again soon to enjoy more of the menu. Love from Sydney!
