This is an essential stop on the Pacific Highway when travelling from Queensland to Sydney snd beyond. With beautiful fresh foods baked on the portable premises and good barista coffee served with a smile, Mooney Mooney Café is a cut above your average service station highway stop. Highly recommended: the moist chocolate-chip muffins and the huge tasty homemade sausage rolls.
The owner and staff here are very nice. I'm Malaysian and my English is very poor... I only ordered a bread roll and a coffee (I originally wanted the largest size, but I accidentally said medium. The owner wasn't wrong, but I still insisted I ordered a large. The owner even noticed my mistake and pointed to the sample cup; it turned out I was wrong). Thank you for not being angry with me. I'll definitely buy drinks here again next time I'm in the area.
