What people say
A very beautiful park with no much amenities to play including a basketball court along with cricket pitch & soccer field as well which the Canterbury Bankstown council did most of the work over the years go by to see so many changes. I did noticed the rugby goal post was removed to make more space for the dog’s owners to run around the field though I do wish they add more basketball courts which it won’t happen this year. There is toilets inside for disabled people that provides access to the needs of one. Parking can be quite busy in the afternoon to see some kids play soccer practicing feet ball movements including elderly people who walk by although the Cooks River can be quite smelly polluted by agile containing dirty water. I did told the Georges River Council to take action about this issues earlier last year anyways this two photos was taken on Tuesday 29th July at 3:26pm on the days I was walking by. Not much park benches whilst the shady area is good to cool down after a long training. Also the sign on the other side is still there for basketball games.
What a beautiful park, I was there for cricket so can only comment in that respect. These grounds are lovely, well maintained! There is a toilet block and changing rooms and a wonderful undercover area for spectators to watch. Great planning as it perfectly covers you from the sun and there's a lovely breeze. There is a basketball half court for shooting practice and shops nearby so would be lovely for a picnic. Plenty of on street free parking too.
Nice park near the river for exercise, walking and sports. there's shed and toilet as well.
Great place for exercise and play games, good place to spend time with families and friends.
