Pat O'Conner Reserve is a well-regarded dog-friendly park in Canterbury where dogs are welcome on lead. Frank & Chitch is also around 250 metres away for a post-walk coffee.
Dogs are welcome on-leash at Pat O'Conner Reserve, a Canterbury-Bankstown Council park. Under the NSW Companion Animals Act 1998, dogs must be kept on a lead and under the effective control of a competent person, and are prohibited within 10 metres of children's play equipment and food preparation areas. Off-leash exercise is permitted only in Council's designated off-leash areas.
Nice large park. Good for exercise, walking your dogs and there is a bicycle track too. There are no dog poo bags available easily. There is one in the offleash area of the park.
A big swing for adults. Bike riding and hiking path+ parks for kids as well
I like what they've done. I hope the council is one day able to put more bike infrastructure in to connect this safely to clemton park and beyond
Great park nice and clean could do with more benches. Close to Frank n Chitch for coffee
The park is well maintained and is good for walking, running and generally using parkland facilities
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
