Yatama Park is a big, open Clemton Park green space with a large grassed area, shade and play equipment in the corner. Dogs are welcome on-leash, and there is plenty of room for an easy walk among local families. There is drinking water and seating on hand, and it is a relaxed, popular neighbourhood spot. A comfortable on-leash park for a stroll close to home.
Dogs are welcome on-leash at Yatama Park, a Canterbury-Bankstown Council park. Under the NSW Companion Animals Act 1998, dogs must be kept on a lead and under the effective control of a competent person, and are prohibited within 10 metres of children's play equipment and food preparation areas. Off-leash exercise is permitted only in Council's designated off-leash areas.
Beautiful big park with huge grassed area and play equipment in the corner. Lots of dogs and families. Heaven.
A small playground with some trees for shade but no picnic facilities or toilet.
A good space for locals to exercise, socialise and being from the inner west, it's a much appreciated Greenpeace
While its play equipment may not have been extravagant, the vast expanse of open space adjacent to a sprawling field made up for it. The park's ambiance was carried a rather peaceful atmosphere allowing visitors to spread out and unwind. Despite its basic amenities, the park offered ample room for leisurely strolls or picnics, making it an ideal spot for locals seeking to get the kids out of the house for an hour or so.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
