Moses Barnes is an absolute gem in Picton Whether you're after delicious food, superb coffee, or a relaxing atmosphere with the family, this is the spot. The outdoor seating area is beautiful and spacious—perfect for kids to play while parents unwind. A special shoutout to Trent, Bella, Monique and of course the rest of the staff for their consistent outstanding service over the years. A must-visit in Picton for anyone who loves great coffee, great food, and great vibes!"

The lady’s there are so kind and are a delight to always get to see every morning. The coffees are amazing, the hot chocolates are even better, the food is delicious. I am recommending it to everyone, 10/10

14/12/2025 Unfortunately, this visit was a frustrating experience. After sitting down for several minutes to review the menu, we returned to the counter to place our order. A few minutes later, a staff member advised that the porridge was unavailable for the day. There were multiple opportunities to communicate this prior to ordering, when menus were collected at the counter, while we were seated reviewing the menu, or at the time of ordering. A simple sign at the counter would also have avoided the situation. Being asked to select an alternative after already ordering created an uncomfortable experience. As a result, I requested a refund and did not order any food for myself. Had I been dining alone, I would have likely left to eat elsewhere. Suggestions for improvement: - If customers are seated with menus, staff could proactively advise of any unavailable items. - Introducing QR code ordering would allow unavailable items to be updated in real time. Improved communication in these areas would significantly enhance the customer experience

Greeted when I walked in the door by multiple friendly staff. Paid $19 for a medium coffee and a bacon egg roll with rocket, cheese, chilli jam... Oh the bun was so fresh it was so soft. Generous amount of bacon which was cooked perfectly. Runny egg yolk. Yet somehow it was easy enough to eat one handed with almost no mess. Absolutely incredible, will definitely return next time i visit Picton.

Seems like a pretty nice joint. Only had croissant and coffee which was good. The staff are really friendly and were always asking if we were ok when a small sprinkle came. Venue is nice too. I'd like to try their food one time which would probably adjust my star rating but for now it's a 3 until I know more.
