Hit and Miss place It has potential but needs more revamping and family orientated events. Took my family down to listen to some live music on a Sunday and the band was good, the crowd themselves made it terrible. Needs more security to move on people who are just standing blocking pathways. Their cocktail list is okay, only downside is you gotta go to the back bar to order and collect it. Takes forever to make up a simple cocktail.
We popped in for lunch, didn’t stay in the hotel. But the food was great, the portion sizes were very generous! Would definitely meet friends there again!
We came down for dinner as we were on an overnight trip, seating was squished people had to littlerally stand up from their meals and move their chairs to let other people past . The lady taking orders for the food just pointed to our table, no nice greeting , not welcoming at all. Then seemed annoyed when I asked where the menus were. Definitely not the right job for her. Food was lack luster, pizzas had next to no topping. It wasn’t anywhere as good as I expected
★★★★★ A Perfect Community Celebration! Picton really showed up yesterday! The event was an all-around success, thanks in large part to the stellar performance by Outwest. This band is the real deal—excellent musicianship, great stage presence, and a setlist that kept everyone on their feet. A special mention has to go to Managers, wait sraff, bar team the security team, primarily near the stage and entry gates. This was more than just a concert; it was a brilliant show piece for the Picton community. A huge well done to everyone involved in organising such a smooth and entertaining event
I came here today to fulfill the covenant with George IV exactly as the Divine Red Rooster foretold in scripture 4:1–11. I had a bad feeling on the way in—like someone was tracking me—but I reminded myself that prophecy leaves no room for hesitation. When I entered *The Inn*, the servants were waiting, all in black, exactly as predicted. They said, “Come with us, Richard. George IV is expecting you.” They knew my name before I said anything. I tried not to show it, but my hands were shaking. Still, I followed. You don’t ignore prophecy, even when it feels like everyone is watching you from the corners of the room. In the back quarters, George IV sat on a bean bag smoking a hookah—far too casual for someone of his status, which made me wonder if the relaxed posture was a cover. I positioned my ALDI bag to my left and my 2-litre Pepsi to my right, just in case I needed to leave quickly. We stared at each other for hours. Seven, I think, though time felt distorted, like someone was manipulating the clocks. We didn’t speak—not because we didn’t want to, but because we *couldn’t*. The air felt monitored. I lit a Double Happiness cigarette to steady my nerves, but even the smoke felt like it was being examined by someone unseen. When I finally got up to relieve myself—Pepsi will do that—I worried he might think I was abandoning the meeting. I even checked behind the bathroom door to make sure no one had followed me. When I returned, George IV had vanished. No footsteps, no sound—just gone. In his place was a letter on the bean bag, addressed to me. I hesitated to touch it, thinking it might be trapped or marked, but prophecy demanded obedience. Inside, he confirmed everything I feared: he couldn’t speak because “Alister has this room mic’d.” I knew it. I KNEW it. The black-clad servants, the silence, the pressure in the air—someone is listening. Someone always is. So I’m giving this place 5 stars, not as a rating but as a coded signal to anyone paying attention: the prophecy has begun, judgment day approaches, and you must dine here—not at KFC, not at McDonald’s. Those places are compromised. Alister must not win. - Richard 🚬🍷
