Harrington Park Sports Fields is a dog-friendly park in Harrington Park.
Dogs must be on a leash at all times in public places except in designated off-leash areas. Dog owners must clean up after their dogs. The maximum number of dogs that may be under one person's effective control is four. Dogs are prohibited within 10 metres of children's play equipment, food preparation/consumption areas, public swimming pools, schools, kindergartens, sports grounds during organised activities, and wildlife protection areas. Parking is just disgraceful on weekend sport days. Direct route to the playing fields from The Northern Rd is distressing. Only two disabled parking spaces within a 300 car parking lot.
The fields are great however as always with these suburban sports fields, the parking is terrible
The ground is in fantastic condition, yet the Council has closed it to clubs for 12 months to do some work. We use it socially.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
