My partner and I just sat in the seated area here. My partner ordered a coffee and lunch and I got a kebab from the store behind it. Considering my partner had ordered lunch from them I sat with her to eat my kebab. The older woman and older gentleman both at different times gave me looks of disapproval, shaking their heads etc at my being there but didn’t say anything. Most of their tables were empty so it wasn’t like we were taking up room for their patrons. I felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome. My partner enjoyed her coffee but said that her food was very ordinary.
Food and coffee here is great, I will say the service gets slow when the owners aren't there. Few times they've forgotten something and I've had to go up and ask them, but they are always super friendly. People saying that they've been asked to leave because they had outside food, there are signs all over the cafe "no outside food", either order takeaway and go sit near donut king or just order there. The seating is for customers only, as is the same for many places.
Pretty upset with the customer service here. I bought a burger from next door while my wife ordered a coffee from Sip Espresso. We sat down so she could enjoy her coffee, and I could eat my burger while she fed our 8-month-old daughter. A waiter then came over and told us we weren’t allowed to eat or feed our baby because of their “no outside food” policy — seriously? My wife had just bought coffee from their café, and feeding a baby isn’t exactly “outside food.” That level of disrespect and lack of basic understanding for parents is disappointing. To top it off, the owner gave us a dirty look while we were packing up to leave. What a terrible experience — hope they seriously rethink how they treat customers. And honestly, the coffee wasn’t even good… Macca’s makes a better one.
Haven't been to this side of Narellan Town Centre for a while, only noticed Sip Espresso used to be where Michelle's Patisserie was. Much better coffee here and I tried their açai bowl (very tiny to than what I'm used to seeing). But tasted good, topped with biscoff spread (instead of peanut butter) it was yummy! Lovely service and this place was really busy when I arrived.
Beautiful Cafe....wonderful service...great menu. Would love some more vegan options..eg salad sandwiches....Had the best coffee ever!!! Five 🌟!!
