Dogs are welcome on-leash at Padstow Park, a Canterbury-Bankstown Council park. Under the NSW Companion Animals Act 1998, dogs must be kept on a lead and under the effective control of a competent person, and are prohibited within 10 metres of children's play equipment and food preparation areas. Off-leash exercise is permitted only in Council's designated off-leash areas.
Synthetic soccer pitch 11/10 truly amazing, full stop. Play equipment 1/10. Looks good but it’s catered for teenagers, which doesn’t really make to much sense since you’ll be taking young kids to the park to play on the equipment. Most teens would either play on the pitch and less likely on the playgrounds. Whoever approved this play equipment needs to go back and learn market segmentation, doesn’t qualify for the intended audience to bring the best ROI. Simply dumb! Parking is horrible, small parking lot you’ll most likely have to find street parking. No shade for spectators, which is quite dumb on super hot days we don’t get to watch our kids play. Don’t go here for the equipment, there are much better parks for it!
There is something to watch games on the wekeend small plaground quite area for playground high walking bridge for kids on certain age group beautiful design .
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
