This park is at the lower end of the middle of the pack in terms of soccer fields I have visited. The main reason I say this is the distinct lack of shaded areas and seating. All the seats at this felicity are placed in the open. I went there on a hot day about 30 degrees. I sat in the sun for approx 4 hours across 2 soccer games. I'm pretty sure I suffered heat stroke. Other than that, the fields are okay. The change rooms and canteen are modern and offer decent food and drink. The restrooms are kept clean and tidy, and the overall cleanliness of the place is quite high. There is ample parking, but during peak soccer season, I would suggest allowing extra time to find parking. There is a walking track that lines the parameter of the fields with ramps as opposed to stairs, making the track wheelchair accessible. This park is also quite accessible via public transport. The local train station is about a 20-minute walk away if you are like me and stroll there. Most people would be able to walk it in just under 15 minutes.

Huge rectangular soccer fields with plenty of parkings surrounding the field. Toilets need serious upgrading though.

Excellent facilities at a very well maintained ground. The Birrong Sports Soccer club that occupies the fields do a great job. There are a total of about 6 or 7 large soccer fields and is located near the Birrong swimming pools and Birrong Sports bowling club. There is plenty of parking on both side of Jim Ring and reasonable clean toilets by Park standards.

This park is huge. It has a wide footpath. The lawn is very well maintained. There is a nice play Park for kids but it has no shade so summer can be pretty hot under the sun. Lots of things to do and ample parking with the car facing the park which I always like.
