The council's "Animals and pets" page summarises this as: "Keeping your dog on a leash, unless in a designated off-leash area." This venue is not on Canterbury-Bankstown's published off-leash list, so the council's general on-leash rule applies under the NSW Companion Animals Act 1998. I park there to go for a walk. The place is kid friendly with a playground etc and a sandy beach on the riverbank. There are toilets nearby and barbecues, picnic tables.

Well maintained. LOTS of park area to chill. Families use it to gather, do BBQs, play on the grass and playgrounds. Great walking path that gives a good work out. Some wildlife in terms of birds, lizards etc. Can be very peaceful and serene most of the time

Good place to have a gathering outdoors especially if you have kids, there are a few playgrounds and shelter with tables for a picnic
