Rotary Park is a dog-friendly park in Riverwood with plenty of shade.
Dogs are welcome on-leash at Rotary Park, a Canterbury-Bankstown Council park. Under the NSW Companion Animals Act 1998, dogs must be kept on a lead and under the effective control of a competent person, and are prohibited within 10 metres of children's play equipment and food preparation areas. Off-leash exercise is permitted only in Council's designated off-leash areas.
Love this park. Its a small park with enough palm equipment and different ones too. Can bring bikes and scooters down, and a great grass area to play footy or just have a picnic. Toilets were so clean compared to other park toilets these toilets so good.
This park wasn’t my first time here with my social groups when it was a long time ago I came to this place playing Badminton & having a good walk around the tour of the playground as well although there is disabled parking along with the toilets seated benches to have our morning tea as well. I did had a good time there to come back here again in the futures. They’re haven’t changed much at this Rotary Park.
I've been here before it looks like they haven't changed in one bit which I went for a walk at that time which it was a drizzle small of rain but that didn't stop me walking for the past 5-10 minutes of my walk :) we had a great time I would like this park to come back one day having a BBQ and also toliets as well.
What a great park! Great toilet block, heaps of parking. Excellent and plentiful play equipment, something for all ages of kids from toddler swings to slides, a sand pit, scooter path then also bigger equipment for older kids like a flying fox, rope web for climbing, taller play equipment and obstacle course. Such a great park for all ages. Once the trees grow it will be lovely & shady but at the moment you rely on the shade sail and covered picnic tables for shade.
This is a great space for kids, especially for riding bikes, scooters, and other wheeled toys. The playground is spacious and offers a wide variety of equipment, which makes it fun and suitable for different ages. However, during our visit in the middle of summer, the water play area was unfortunately not working, which was quite disappointing considering the hot weather. In addition, the grass around the playground really needs to be cut, as it looked poorly maintained. Overall, it has great potential and is a fantastic playground when well maintained, but some attention to maintenance would make a big difference.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
