Located at 624 Forest Road, Penshurst, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺 Olds park has recently undergone a major upgrade which has greatly improved the park’s facilities. It looks so much better and is so much children friendly. I love the dragon figurine overlooking the upgrade. He’s known as “Knucker” 😊 and is made from skateboards and bicycles , along with metal salvaged from the original skate park. The new skate park is wonderful and very popular. There’s great facilities for cricket 🏏, AFL, soccer ⚽️ and netball 🏀. There’s large green spaces for picnics but also offered is shaded seating, along with BBQ facilities and a children’s playground area which is also wheelchair 🦽 accessible. There’s a shared cycle and pedestrian pathway and public toilets. In my opinion the upgrade has given a major boost to the park and has resulted in the park becoming so much more welcoming and enjoyable. It’s a very family friendly park and a wonderful place to bring the kids. On the weekends when the sports competition is run, there’s a small canteen run by volunteers. Highly recommend. Thumbs up!! 👍👍👍👍

Great walking track 1.2km full circuit, newly turfed competition soccer field, plenty of parking inside and around local streets, nice quiet and affordable meals & drinks at the Sports Club nearby. Hoping the Local Council can one day build a small grandstand alongside the new field and returf the junior soccer fields at back end of the park to earn itself 5 stars.

Virgin visitors, and joined... Nice atmosphere, friendly (great) staff. Beers are not overpriced. Chinese/Australian meals are good. Grilled Barramundi 5/5, grilled halloumi avocado salad 4/5 (just not keen on the dressing). Chicken Chow Mein 3¾ /5. Soft noodles like 5-minute noodles and missing flavours.. but 💯 nice too. Back there in a few days to try some more food. Generous portions.
