Gifford Park is a dog-friendly park in Penshurst with plenty of shade.
Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times in this park. Under Georges River Council policy, dogs are permitted on-leash in public places except in designated leash-free areas; this park is listed on Council's Park and Reserve Facilities directory and is not a designated off-leash area.
Park close to home I take my 4 year old son too. Small but good, has public toilets.
Good local park within the residential area, and, within a walking distance, it's so convenient for those who live nearby. One full size soccer field is located here and is home to a club, and there is one toilet block. There is a water bubbler and bottle refill found near the playground as well as a shaded picnic table.
Basic local park with the added of bonus of public restrooms. Playground equipment in good condition, rubber surface recently installed and shades for the hotter months. If you live locally, it's handy for a quick late afternoon play to burn off some energy before dinner.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
