Dog rules

Canterbury-Bankstown City Council's "Pet-friendly parks and reserves" page states: "please remember to keep your dog on a leash unless the reserve is classified as a 'dog off-leash area'." The council's "Animals and pets" page summarises this as: "Keeping your dog on a leash, unless in a designated off-leash area." This venue is not on Canterbury-Bankstown's published off-leash list, so the council's general on-leash rule applies under the NSW Companion Animals Act 1998. What a great park! My almost 3yr 0ld absolutely loves the dish type swing and is fast becoming a pro at the rope climb up to the "big slide". There's a decent amount of seating available, including two picnic tables which are shaded and a great big field to run on when it's not filled with footy players. Great park!

Great spot for a morning jog or to watch the sunrise. The park is higher than most buildings in the area so you can get a nice view.

Space to draw. Seats give a lovely view of the park. The weather has been so luscious lately, not too hot, not too cold. There are cricket nets and equipment, the colourful plastic type, helter skelters, hurdy gurdies, see-saws and swings. Nice way to waste a few hours when you've got a break from art school.
