Street Kid Cafe

This is feedback , rating it for what it was as a dessert I understand if needing to thin out the sauces making it easier to pour. However the sauce was not emulsified well? So it was quite literally oil more than sauce. Unpleasant experience , did not attempt to finish the box. The crunchy katafi felt more like vermicelli. Cake part was ok, but tasted as though not baked in house. For $20+ for a box, would be expecting overall better quality.

All these advertisements are fake man atleast sell it the way you advertise it. The pictures speak for themslves, where's that full spoon of kataifi and that crunch. The cake was dry, the sauce wasn't saucing and there was probably a teasspoon of kataifi,thats not even real kataifi,never agian.

I have a theory that if “influencers” have advertised it, then the food’s not nice. So far I haven’t been wrong. $50 for 2 small bowls was the first red flag. Our teenagers were excited to try it so we humoured them; it was so dry and sickly sweet that 4 of us didn’t even make it halfway and the cake tastes like box cake from Woolworths. Sadly the way it’s pictured is the way it went into the rubbish. Great concept, wrong execution. Service was great, though! Don’t mean to be harsh but I’ll always be honest. All the best!

I had such a great experience at Street Kid in Punchbowl! The customer service was genuinely impressive, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and happy to help with recommendations. The cake I ordered was absolutely amazing super fresh, beautifully made, and full of flavour. Their desserts overall were really good as well, with a great variety and consistent quality. Definitely a spot worth visiting if you’re after something sweet! Highly recommend and will be going back there myself.

absolutely nailed it with their Loaded Cakes! It’s so worth the $25 — honestly it’s enough for two people. The cake is incredibly soft and moist (way better than I expected), and the quality is awesome. The flavour is amazing, and the toppings make it even better. Seriously, this is a must-try dessert!
