Waite Reserve is a well-regarded dog-friendly park in Acacia Gardens where dogs are welcome on lead.
Dogs are welcome on-leash at Waite Reserve, a Blacktown City Council park. Under the NSW Companion Animals Act 1998, dogs must be kept on a lead and under effective control, and are prohibited within 10 metres of children's play equipment and food preparation areas. Off-leash exercise is permitted only in Council's designated off-leash areas.
Fairdinkum i would hate to live here during sport seasons, trying to get parking was unbelievable, they had a gala day so we were there all day. Luckily they had a kiosk open an able to get food & drinks
No seating nowhere to park disabled park had a trailer in it and ppl parking without a permit in the disabled park parent's smoking & vaping around children so disgusting
It's dedicated ground allocated to our team by our KRCC CLUB to do cricket practice. It is well maintained
It's my kids home ground and our club has made it feel like home but Blacktown council could do much more to improve legacy parks in the Blacktown area. Parks like Waite's struggle with recovery during heavy rain and need quality upgrades to surrounding fences and facilities. Parks are about the kids and more needs to be done.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
