Dog rules

Dogs are welcome on-leash at Cornucopia Reserve, a Blacktown City Council park. Under the NSW Companion Animals Act 1998, dogs must be kept on a lead and under effective control, and are prohibited within 10 metres of children's play equipment and food preparation areas. Off-leash exercise is permitted only in Council's designated off-leash areas.

Local reserve with decent parking space. Previously various sports events have taken place here smoothly. Australian Sikh Association was able to hold Interfaith Sports Carnival on Sunday 10th Sept 2023.

It is a good place to visit and have excersices. There are parking places but it may be locked if outside "business hours". Can park on near by streets though. I have not seen bbq area but a few tables are there. Have not used toilet there but it is available. Overall, there are better parks in Glenwood area but this one definitely is not bad to visit and have a run. Please use it.

The playground is great for 2yrs+. It hosts 2 slides, 2 swings and a toddler swing. It has a couple of other balancing things. It's a better playground than those around the area. It's also shaded which is handy for summer. The oval has a running track, 2x shot put cages and a long jump. (You can use the long jump sand pit for the kids) Bathrooms are available and a heap of parking. It's also about a 5 min walk to Glenwood shops to grab a coffee or snacks. It's less crowded than other parks in the area and you can listen to the birds. It ticks all the boxes for me and the family.

A beautiful location. The grounds could be better maintained though. The locals living around the park are always complaining about too many cars parked on the road because the council does not always open the carpark.

Relatively clean and maintained grounds, yet the neighbouring flood way is often left to get dangerously overgrown and swampy
