Upperby Reserve is a dog-friendly park in Dean Park. Just 800m away, Plumpton Hotel is a nearby spot to stop in after your walk.
Dogs are welcome on-leash at Upperby Reserve, a Blacktown City Council park. Under the NSW Companion Animals Act 1998, dogs must be kept on a lead and under effective control, and are prohibited within 10 metres of children's play equipment and food preparation areas. Off-leash exercise is permitted only in Council's designated off-leash areas.
It's a nice and secure place between houses. However, the missing factor is that there are no water or toilet facilities.
Situated up the hill with lots of trees around, but not the best ground for any sports activities. Lots of uneven surfaces and turf not laid all over. No drinking water and not well maintained toilets either.
Average ground.. bad parking..need proper direction to the ground from the main road
The outfield was not well mowed on one side of the wickets and was grassy when we played 2 weeks back on a Sunday (winter tournament) Could maintain the ground better.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
