What people say
A great community space with something for everyone! The precinct has a big open park area, walking paths, a playground for kids, sports fields, and regular local events and markets. It’s well maintained, family-friendly, and has plenty of seating areas. Parking is usually available, and it’s close to shops and public transport. Perfect spot for a morning walk, picnic, or just relaxing outdoors. On event days, it gets lively with lots of food stalls and entertainment. A real community hub in Blacktown, Recommend all to visit
Good sports field, has play ground and also tennis fields. Doonside Hawks Soccer Club home field. The club has canteen and BBQ on weekends. Good club to get involved in soccer for all ages.
Very small parking area but there is parking on slope beside playing fields, with a better view than the official car park. Some tomes there is a coffee van available.
Poor drainage in the field. Each time it rains, puddles remain for days impacting training and other sports activities.
Worst sign ever coming into this place. The tiniest sign that says Glendenning Reserve so I past it 3 times because there were so many cars driving and packing up the road. Maybe a big sign so people driving can see it.
