Federation Forest is a leafy Blacktown City Council park at Mount Druitt with parking, toilets and BBQ facilities. Dogs are welcome on-leash, kept clear of play equipment and food areas, under effective control. It is an easy, shaded spot for a relaxed walk. A pleasant on-leash park close to home.

Dog rules

Dogs are welcome on-leash at Federation Forest, a Blacktown City Council park. Under the NSW Companion Animals Act 1998, dogs must be kept on a lead and under effective control, and are prohibited within 10 metres of children's play equipment and food preparation areas. Off-leash exercise is permitted only in Council's designated off-leash areas.

Great park, modern and clean bathroom facilities. Missing 1 star as there is limited parking, people jam up the street parking making it hard to back out of the field parking. There is plenty of surrounding grassed area that can perhaps be used for more parking? Other than that, great field, well maintained.

A clean and well maintained park with toilets abd stands. It's nice and quiet too, good for any good footy game or training drills. When its not raining or steamy hot.

I'm so happy these sports fields are so near my home. They are wonderful green spaces surrounded by bush. I like to visit this spot to relax and unwind when it's not being used for sports. Ian shocked by the amount of litter left on the grounds after the sporting events. Litter also includes cigarette butts. Couldn't the community attending the sports event ensure rubbish is removed before everyone goes home.. Trashing the park with litter is frustratingly disappointing. It's 2025 , why is this behaviour acceptable and tolerated. Please let's us all play our part to care, respect, protect and be grateful for this amazing location. Thank you.
