Dog rules
Georges River Council's "Off leash dog parks" page states: "Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times when not in a designated leash free area." "Penalties apply for under the Companion Animals Act 1998." This venue is not on Georges River Council's published off-leash list, so the council's general on-leash rule applies. What people say
This is a really pleasant walk with abundant bird populations and other wildlife. It’s also dog-friendly which is nice. The mangrove forests are beautiful. You have flexibility in choosing different tracks, we did a circuit through Oatley park. It can be muddy/slippery in places, and some parts of the tracks were a bit overgrown. I do wish there were drinking water stations around but otherwise a nice walk in a convenient location.
Kids loved it. So much to explore! See parksandadventuresofsydney on Instagram for more.
A pleasant walk into the bush with lots of birds and other wildlife abound. Some areas are a little bit overgrown and you may encounter spider webs across some paths so just be aware of that.
