Jewfish Bay Baths is a beach in Oatley. Dog access at NSW beaches varies by council and is often restricted by zone or time of day — the rules here aren't confirmed, so check the local council's beach dog rules before visiting.
Beautiful bay along the Georges River. It clearly has a wonderful community presence particularly with the swim club (which I learnt have been around for 100 years!) and many people going by on their daily walks along the foot path. This is a well loved beach that's for sure! There's a few benches around to sit on. Change rooms available for swimmers. Ideal for swimming in high tide as it can get quite muddy. It's fun to see all the mud crabs galivanting on the beach during low tide.
Quiet beach. We went on Sunday, not many kids playing in the sand or water, many people came walking and jogging, some fishing, some picnicking, clean toilets, plenty of parking but went we go toilet for shower no open
Nice lovely secluded place. You can find limited parking here and some more parking in otley park. Down at the baths are men and women dressing rooms. Accessible and shaded picnic tables. Lots of crabs though and lots of people fishing on the bridge. It is a peaceful area to dip your feet and relax.
This is truly a hidden gem. A short walk down from the car park in Oatley Park. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful. Didn't take a dip in the Georges river but the water did seem clean. There were warning signs of not entering the water post rain. Warning signs for sharks as well. Didn't expect that one though. Clean toilets and shower rooms. Plenty of benches and a nice place for a short walk along the river.
A perfect spot for a mindfulness walk. Great for body and mind. A lot of great spots to go for strolls among nature and get some exercise. Say hi to lovely strangers, their kids and their dogs:)
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
