Jellicoe Park is a tucked-away Pagewood park with a massive oval and plenty of room for a walk or a kick of the ball. Dogs are welcome on-leash — it is not an authorised off-leash area — so it suits a steady stroll rather than off-leash play. There is a playground, drinking water, toilets and shade, making it comfortable for families. A spacious, leafy on-leash spot.
Dogs are permitted on-leash under the NSW Companion Animals Act. Dogs must be under effective control at all times. This venue is not listed on the Bayside Council off-leash dog areas page; off-leash use is not authorised here.
Good park. Has a nice path but could be better lit at night. The hedges block the street lights. Sports fields and play equipment but also many trees and birds. Toilet and water fountains avalible. A leash free dog park is adjacent behind some houses, look for the signs. Please add more lights for nighttime users to get 5 stars.
Jellicoe Park is an absolutely gorgeous tucked away playarea for the local families. From the swing sets, to the massive oval you can run, walk, kick the soccer ball or play some cricket with your friends. Even just to have a family picnic on a lazy Sunday afternoon, this is the place to be. I'll definitely be back even to walk my dog early in the morning....
A true local treasure housing the amazing Pagewood Botany Football Club. Great facilities ensure weekend sports are all about enjoying the game with such a well organized venue and great community.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
