What people say
Stumbled upon this small, cozy café in Bexley and instantly fell in love with it. We tried their house specials and were genuinely impressed. My partner had the Velvet Botanical Coffee — true to its name, it was incredibly smooth, with beautifully balanced flavors. The in-house roasted beans really elevate the experience. I went with the Matcha Earl Grey — light, refreshing, and not overly sweet, with a lovely floral fragrance from the tea. Overall, a fantastic experience. Highly recommend if you're in the area! Bonus: Easy street parking available, and a nearby council car park adds extra convenience
safe to say i have found one of my new favourite coffee shops IN THE WORLD!! i am a bexley local and was shocked when i saw this gem open near me; a coffee shop with an extensive menu and much to my excitement—specialty drinks!! they hav a wide variety of creative and uniquely crafted beverages, but i opted for “the velvet botanic”; dark chockatey tasting espresso with an earl grey concentrate and some sort of cream that tasted really nice. it is one of the nicest coffees i have ever had in my life. the flavour is impeccable without being sickly sweet, and the espresso is strong and bitter. i dont even know how to describe it other than it being a coffee experience that explodes with flavour and has a velvety texture in the mouth. please give goata a go, and check out their amazing coffee! side note: their prices are all so reasonable too!! unlike some other places in sydney that have similar offerings
Big respect to Goata Coffee and the owner, Isaac for roasting his own beans. The coffee is consistently great and what really sets the place apart is Isaac’s passion. He’s always experimenting and creating something new, so there’s always something exciting to try when you pop in. I can confirm this hidden gem is worth coming in if you’re in the area!
The owners are super friendly and the coffee is next level! The blend and the roast are always being tinkered with so the end product is nuanced and a little different each time. Always a 10/10, some days an 11 or 12/10. It’s great to see what was a tired space begin to really hum with fresh energy, a genuine love for coffee, new customers and a renewed hustle.
I was in Bexley and walked past this café by chance. The vibe felt nice so I went in for a coffee. It turned out really smooth and tasty — strong enough to enjoy with milk but not burnt at all. I also tried the almond croissant and it was nice, buttery, and not too sweet. Glad I stopped by!
