Coco's On The Beach is a pub in Brighton-le-sands. We don't yet have enough signals to confirm whether dogs are allowed. It's best to check with the venue before visiting with your dog. Just 200m away, Heslehurst Reserve is a great nearby park for a walk with your dog.
Absolutely underrated gem! We stumbled upon Coco’s on the Beach for dinner yesterday and were so impressed we came back again for lunch today and we rarely do that on holidays. The food is exceptional, super fresh, high quality, and clearly made with care. Every dish we tried was full of flavour and beautifully presented. You can really taste the difference in how fresh the seafood and produce are. The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable for what you get. Great value all around. They also brew their own beer on-site, which was a pleasant surprise. Crisp, refreshing, and paired perfectly with the meal. Definitely try a tasting paddle if you’re into craft brews. The staff were friendly, laid-back, and made us feel welcome. Honestly, this place deserves more attention. We’ll be recommending it to everyone!
Nice place facing the water. The Waitress was exceptionally attentive and friendly. We had the Rendang nachos. It was a nice Asian twist to the traditional Nachos. Three waffle fries were hearty and tasty without being over salty The bathrooms are very clean abs tidy (I don't often comment on bathrooms haha)
I don’t love writing negative reviews, but I think this one is needed. I work in hospitality, so I get that this stuff can be hard to read, but it’s important for management to know what’s going on. We’re locals in the Brighton area and had been excited to try Coco’s properly. Our first visit was just for drinks, which we really enjoyed, so we were keen to come back for dinner last night. Sadly, it wasn’t a great experience. We ordered a salad and a fish burger. After about 30 minutes, a staff member came over looking confused and asked if we’d moved tables. When we said no, she just walked off. Another 20 minutes went by, so we checked on the food. We were told it had been sitting there for 20 minutes, they couldn’t find the customers, and they could bring it out now. The idea of being served food that had been sitting there that long was pretty off-putting. We asked for a refund, which they sorted quickly, but there wasn’t much in the way of an apology or resolution. It’s really disappointing given the location and they seem to have a great offering, however, with that kind of service and lack of hospitality, we won’t be heading back to Coco’s any time soon.
Great venue! A bit loud but probably because it's more of a sports bar than a speak-easy. Decor is well put together and modern. Ordered the brighton burger. Felt like it was decent quality. Unfortunately it fell short on the flavour profile. A bit unusual. So not sure what the goal of this burger was... but the flavour didnt work. Not to my taste, which is very rare. Not the best outcome for a premium price. Opportunity to improve the food game. Hopefully will happen over time. All in all, a great place with a great vibe!
Went there first day they officially opened. Very pleasant decor, friendly staff, good drink selection. We were all very happy with our food (photos are half eaten haha). My cheeseburger was to die for. Burgers is my favourite food group and this was up there with one of the best I've had ever. Highly recommended 👌
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
