Great place for a pub style lunch/dinner. Nice location, right on the water's edge with plenty of outdoor seating. Get there early though if you want to sit outside because it's a popular place. The food was good, big portions as you'd expect. The only downside was the lack of table service during the week. Despite having the QR codes on the tables you had to order at the counter.

Went for a group function, very nice setting. Tables were well spread and ample indoor and outdoor seating. Good selection on the menu, schnitzel was a bit dry but the rest of the meals we ordered were great. Excellent variety of cocktails and bar options. Good venue for kids too. We went for Sunday lunch and there was a live musician who was really good too. Plenty of parking and they give you a docket for free 5 hour parking if you visit that venue

Dear Restaurant Manager, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to formally express my deep disappointment regarding my recent dining experience at Log Cabin Penrith. Unfortunately, the situation I encountered was extremely upsetting and unacceptable. During my visit, I ordered a vegetarian pasta, as I am a pure vegetarian and very particular about the food I consume. While eating, I was shocked and disturbed to discover a large fly inside my pasta. This was extremely distressing and completely ruined my meal. Finding an insect in food is a serious hygiene issue and raises major concerns about kitchen cleanliness, food preparation standards, and quality control procedures. As a customer, I trust that proper food safety practices are followed at all times. This incident has made me feel stressed, uncomfortable, and disappointed, especially as someone who carefully chooses where to dine due to my dietary preferences. The experience was not only unhygienic but also emotionally upsetting. I was unable to continue eating, and it significantly impacted my overall impression of your establishment. I believe that food safety should always be treated as a top priority in any professional restaurant environment. I respectfully request that this matter be investigated thoroughly and that appropriate measures be taken to ensure such incidents do not occur again. I would appreciate a prompt response outlining how this situation will be addressed and what corrective actions will be implemented. I look forward to hearing from you soon and hope this concern will be handled with the seriousness it deserves. Kind regards, I am writing again because I am very disappointed with the response I received regarding my complaint. First of all, I was not seated near the door. I was sitting far away from any entrance, so blaming the open doorway is completely incorrect. The fly did not “land” on my plate from outside. The fly was inside the pasta itself. While I was rolling my spaghetti with tomato. I found the fly mixed inside the food. This clearly indicates that it came from the kitchen during preparation and was cooked with the meal. It was not something that flew in afterward. As a pure vegetarian, this was extremely upsetting and disturbing for me. Finding a fly inside my food caused me significant stress and completely ruined my dining experience. This is not a minor issue that can be dismissed as something that “occasionally happens” because of an open venue. It is a serious hygiene concern. What disappointed me even more was the explanation provided. Instead of taking responsibility, it felt like the situation was being blamed on the door being open. If this explanation were accurate, your manager should have mentioned it clearly at the time. However, this was never communicated to me because the fly was inside the food, not something that came from outside. I left the meal there and did not finish it. This is not about asking for money back it is about hygiene and food safety standards. I believe this matter should be taken much more seriously. I sincerely hope management reviews their kitchen hygiene practices and food preparation checks to ensure this does not happen to any other customer in the future. Very disappointed. Kind regards,

The food was really good but I found a whole moth in my salad. When I complained all they offered was a free drink . Maybe if I wasn’t 8 months pregnant I would have taken it but a little disappointed with what was offered.

My first time here since it reopened. I walked in & it’s so clean & open. I asked a bar staff where do I go for bookings & she stopped what she was doing & helped me get to my table. So so friendly & polite. We ordered & it came out so quick. Very impressed. I had the Caesar chicken burger & it was amazing. The dressing was out of this world. I loved it. The view fab, & the service great. After, we let the kids play in the play area. Just a lovely place. It wasn’t busy so I’ll remember Wednesday’s are best. Great experience
