What people say
I’ve been coming to this cafe for more than 5 years. It’s the coolest and quietest place in Cafe in West Ryde. The workers here are great. There are some people making false complaints just because they couldn’t use the toilet due to early closing time at 3pm or waited too long for a coffee because it’s a popular place to go to. If you are that person please note that there are not many good cafes left in our area and to please respect the closing times for the toilet, kitchen and when it’s busy to please understand that coffees aren’t microwaveable within 1 minute of your order. Also note the workers here are humans as well.
Not many local cafes available in West Ryde, does the coffee okay, but not a huge fan of the design of the cafe as it looks more run-down than rustic design. There are new benches installed by Council for you to sit and enjoy.
Great little cafe that is welcoming and cosy with quirky twists on traditional favourites. Very accommodating for families, pets and service is friendly and attentive. Highly recommend the Chilli Crab omelette.
Element 6 is the go-to spot for locals and really cute and cosy. The coffee is great quality, the staff are friendly and it’s a nice quiet refuge. Plus they have gluten free food!
I was a frequent for take away coffee and had brunch here a couple of times on weekdays. Today we went here for brunch and the service was absolutely terrible. We were shown the area at the back when the staff said that there were no tables while I had to point out to her that there was an empty table that she just needed to clear it out. She did that reluctantly. We asked for highchairs and of course it was forgotten and my husband had to go source it himself. We ordered food and drinks and nothing came after 20 minutes. The table seated after us got their 3rd dish that's when we asked the staff where our food was. The coffee that we ordered had no sign until we were all done. The food overall was OK but on the pricey side. However the kids smoothies were so gross. It was too sweet I didn't know how much syrup they had put in. Too bad I only found out after my kids drank half. I will not come back again.
