New Glasgow Park is a family-friendly park in Granville with open grass, shade and a playground. Dogs are welcome on-leash, with bag stations on hand for an easy local visit. It is a straightforward neighbourhood green that suits a relaxed walk close to home. A pleasant on-leash spot for the family and the dog.

Dog rules

Dogs are permitted on-leash under the NSW Companion Animals Act. Cumberland City Council's Companion Animals Policy states dogs must be under effective control and on a leash in all public places except designated off-leash parks. Dogs are prohibited within 10 metres of playgrounds, food preparation areas, sports fields, school grounds, and wildlife protection areas. This venue is not a designated off-leash park. This new park has lots of shade, four sets of seats - one with a bench - and a playground. Lots of grass area to kick a ball around. No toilets. Located at the start of the Duck River Walk that ends at Boundary Road Chester Hill. On-street parking available. Poorly lit at night. Located three blocks east of Woolworths. Accessible via wheelchair. Great spot to come and relax at. Clyde train station is located at the northern end of the street.

Visited yesterday to this part as part of christmas carols. My kids enjoyed the event . They got gifts at the end of the event. Park is small but sufficient for local communities.

Love this park can play soccer, or other ball games usually quite hidden, the play area is relatively modern

A nice small park with children amenity to play. Needs a bit of maintenance from the council and some sense from the people visiting to put their rubbish in the bins. It's chips, hungry jacks wrappers all over the place near the benches.
