Maison Mornings

A bright, warm and welcoming cafe that serve amazing food ! Was definitely surprised and excited about the Filipino dishes on the menu and had to try it. The pork adobo was so incredibly tender and delicious that I could have more of it! It was cooked amazingly well and the vinegar to soy sauce ratio was perfect. The dish was cooked with hearty intention ! And of course, the honey glazed pork was to die for. Portion and presentation was nailed down, and kudos to the chef because the meat was incredibly tender and delicious. Coffee was great too, and the customer service was friendly and welcoming ! :) The place is also dog-friendly, and has small outdoor seating. Overall, a beautiful gem in Mortlake, and would definitely come back :) Maison Mornings was definitely a great start to my morning !

Maison Mornings is truly a gem in the neighbourhood. My wife and I go there every morning for coffee, and we always feel so welcomed — Ivy, Jason and the team greet us (and even our dog Poppy!) by name, which is such a lovely personal touch. The coffee is hands down the best in the area, and the breakfast menu never disappoints — I’m especially a fan of the eggs Benny, it’s a go-to favourite. The café itself is beautifully designed with a calm, inviting atmosphere and always the perfect background music to start the day right. All the staff are friendly, thoughtful, and seem to genuinely enjoy getting to know their regulars. Maison Mornings has become a part of our daily routine, and we feel lucky to have it as our local. Highly recommend!

Very nice and relaxing vibe. Beautifully presented dishes with a generous volume. However, the syrup was fully poured in the pancake plate making the lower part too sweet and a bit soggy. The mushroom pasta was also too heavy on the cream and light on taste. The service was quick enough. However, the two ladies in the shop were spending more time in the back or talking together rather than being around.

Went here for a spontaneous brunch date and was super happy with the dishes we ordered. Reasonably priced, super tasty and the owners were lovely. Definitely recommend visiting. Will be back!!!

Great little place. Had lots of good options for food. The coffee we got was excellent. The milk is hot and silky. The pasta we ordered had truffle but not so much truffle. You couldn't taste anything else and was absolutely delicious. The service there was excellent. Staff are friendly to us and our children who were perfectly behaved. The table that we sat at had a nook for the pram which is excellent. A nook!?! The whole place felt inviting and comfortable - and the staff helped us by taking our order at the table, I'm sure it's meant to be that I go up to the counter, but they saw we were a bit disorganised and helped us out. Would go again for sure.
