3.8 - Popped in here for a lovely small breakfast - It was pleasant and humble. Would have liked less fat on my Baconand another slice, but I did like the inclusion of Mushrooms, and the Hash Brown. Light Morning Breakfast ($16.50) Loved just looking out at the sky, resting my eyes for a change. Some people were there with their laptops. It feels quite airy, and everyone is doing their own thing :) No surcharge so it is definitely a business we want to support. 3.4 - In an old little shopping centre, this little cafe is haven for its residents. Mostly elderly people, catching up for coffees and chats. I had lunch (Boscaiola) here with a colleague and also tried the Almond shortbread with a coffee afterwards. Mediocre for all items. Boscaiola featured average pasta, sauce thick but good volume, coffee was creamy but light in flavour, shortbread was way too sweet and thick. I noticed the Apple Crumble at the counter, and it's like a Muffin! Okay for a local Cafe and has lovely amounts of natural light and greenery. Large range of options on menu.
Friendly family run neighbourhood cafe. Dropped by for a quick catch up with a friend who lives in the area. Pleasantly surprised. Coffee is decent. Food was simple but tasted good. There is a gorgeous window-wall situation with a huge tree outside. Loved the vibe. Fairly priced, the staff is welcoming and on days where you don’t want something too complicated, this is a lovely option.
I recently discovered this hidden gem in Gladesville and I’ve been back many times since. Food & coffee are great and service is friendly and efficient. My favorite here is the Halloumi & Egg Breakfast Burger - super delicious and filling while not too heavy. Great range of menu options & my daughter gives the smoothies here the thumbs up!
Unexpected find in the quiet shopping area in Gladesville. The girl at the counter seemed a little lost but the lady who looked like the owner came around to our table to double check the order right away, they were all very friendly. Food came out faster than expected and the portions were quite generous so was a big feed for the two of us. The day was extremely hot so they had put the blinds down on most of the large window areas so would love to be back in the future when the blinds are rolled up to see the beautiful greens !
When I saw the cafe from the outside while shopping at Gladesville shopping village, I couldn't imagine that the inside of the cafe was spacious and the beautiful view could be seen through the window. I went for brunch with 6 friends, but most of the tables were occupied by local people quietly enjoying coffee and food themselves. The food and coffee were of course so delicious, and the plating was not lacking compared to any fancy restaurant. We ordered and shared a lot of dishes, the spaghetti, pasta, butter curry and some salads looked very healthy and tasted better than we could have imagined. I am so glad to have such a high-quality cafe nearby and I would definitely recommend it to people who live near this cafe, especially Gladesville, Putney, Ryde, and Balmain. I would like to thank the friendly cafe staff and the chef who prepared a wonderful brunch for us today.
