Good One is a cafe in Belmont. We don't yet have enough signals to confirm whether dogs are allowed. It's best to check with the venue before visiting with your dog. Just 200m away, Lions Park Playground is a great nearby park for a walk with your dog.
Very cool and hip cafe on the lake, cute setup here. They don’t have a variety of food, coffee, sandwiches and some sweets.. because their kitchen is tiny I think. Toastie was excellent so as salmon bagel. Bagels were chewy, which is supposed to be, and generous amount of cream cheese… yum! Also the drink was good, brewed chai had plenty of aroma, but the iced chocolate was… the can had a bit of metallic taste and looking like a big waste.. no recyclable hard plastic + tin. We loved the experience and intend to go again.
Nice for a brunch with friends or on your own. I ordered a large coffee wasn't as large as I expected, but ,was still a lovely drink. Service was excellent, quick and friendly. Great views of lake Macquarie whether you are sitting inside or outside. Was a lovely walk from our accommodation
Love the place! Great coffee, gluten free options. You can sit “in the windows” looking at the lake. Lots of plants inside, easy to park outside. Good wifi.
We ordered the Beef toastie and unfortunately it was very disappointing. The Corn beef was chewy and tough the way that we couldn’t pull it apart by hand. The pickle didn’t have any pickle flavor and tasted like soggy cucumber.🙁🙁 The sandwich was soggy and falling apart before it gets to us. 🥲🥲 We really went there with high hopes.💔
Whilst the coffee was great, a $6.54 fee for a large is not worth the return to whilst alternate cafes providing the same quality at a lower price. Cafe looked over staffed for the tasks I watched them doing, opportunity for cost of doing business can be reduced as with the coffee prices.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
