Came here for a Sunday evening meal with a friend. The atmosphere is great with all the dogs being allowed inside. I ordered The Ringo for dinner, which was prepared quickly and tasted great. The beer prices are also reasonable.

I've lived here for years, since the location was a fratelli fresh and during the years post covid when it sat empty. I'm very happy that this location has been brought back to life. The food is solid pub fare, with some real standouts like the pasta. They rotate their taps with a good mix of craft beers that are different from other local venues and brewer is es. They do have local regulars, but also bring in New Zealand beers or crafts from interstate. The free popcorn and cheap arcade games are a plus. The venue is once again dog friendly and offers value discounts every weeks (drain the taps Mondays are a highlight).

The Mitch is a wonderful local pub. Hospitable & welcoming in a convenient location in Alexandria with a brilliant selection of great value food, including totally authentic Italian Neopolitan Pizza as good as any you will find in Napoli. But it’s the staff here that are the standout with nothing seemingly too much trouble, most particularly for Bar Manager Riley. Definitely recommended!

Sorely miss the Fratelli Fresh days before COVID but amazing to see how the fitouts and decor remains practically intact esp. retaining the wood fired pizza oven while installing a simple bar to really give it that local neighbourhood welcoming. Charlie and the team provided us the entire lounge area (which would've been extra cool if the day was colder to light up the embers!). Nevertheless, given how the Mitch is only about a year old, what's unique about it is its family-friendly playground adjacent to the pool table and arcade games are situated well away from the standard tables (for those chatting anything M15+-related).

The Mitch Hotel Alexandria is an absolute gem. Thoughtfully designed for families, it features a kids play area that makes all the difference during a relaxed family lunch. The food was stunningly presented. The bar staff were warm, attentive and bursting with enthusiasm. If Google had a six star rating, this place would be first in line. A fantastic experience from start to finish.
