The Jack Shuttleworth Reserve is a dog-friendly park in Alexandria where dogs are welcome on lead. You'll find shaded areas and drinking water nearby, while The MiTCH is just a short walk away for an easy post-walk drink.
Dogs are welcome in this park but must be kept on a leash at all times. Off-leash exercise is only permitted in the City of Sydney's 50 designated off-leash parks — this is not one of them. Dogs are prohibited from playgrounds, sports courts, and enclosed sports ovals. Please pick up after your dog and use bins where provided. Small friendly neighbourhood park, popular with the smaller kids after school, especially the saucer swing
This reserve is an amazing mini-play area for local littlies and younger school children. It was completely renewed in late 2017 and has several interesting activities for the kids. It also has benches and a drinking fountain or bubbler.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
