The Showground Tavern

I got the steak and chips and it was delicious. Saturday has two for one main meals and that's just an incredible value for your money. The staff are lovely and the food is just generally pleasant. I recommend coming here for a visit!

Came here a few months ago with my partner and his parents. MIL'S food came coated in salt and pepper, being allergic to pepper, her lips immediately started to swell. She politely asked the large brunette woman if it had been seasoned and the lady couldn't have been ruder. Rather than apologise or offer something else, she flew into a tirade about how every meal is seasoned prior to serving and she was felt quite belittled. We have been here in the past with no issue but after the large brunette woman's disgusting outburst we will never ever return. Other friends have since been here and all comment on this woman's abrasiveness. She has quite the reputation for treating customers terribly.

The staff are so pleasant and food is the best pub food I rate this Tav 100% no complaints keep up with your amazing job be back in 2 weeks 👍

What a surprise! Got my car cleaned up the street and thought i'd walk down for a couple cold ones. Well, I think I found the cleanest pub in western Sydney! Deano hooked me up with ice cold beers while I watched UFC. Time went by and I got hungry so I ordered the Sunday special schitty $16. Bloody awesome! Clean, awesome staff, food and beers. I'll be getting my car cleaned every week from now on just to swing by the The Showground Tavern!! Thanks again Deano!

Went here for lunch, the staff were friendly and helpful. Portion sizes were good, and the chips were crunchy (I have been to some other pubs where they have been more on the soggy side). Of writing, they are still renovating so cannot comment too much on ambiance but the value for money was a big plus. I went with someone with an allergy and the staff were helpful to assist in getting him something he could eat. However, they did accidentally give him a milk bun on a burger which was quickly fixed after asking about it.
