Went here for valentines dinner and it was so lovely!!! We got the set menu which was the perfect amount of food for price, and everything was soooo delicious. PERFECT mix of dishes to really get a taste for the cuisine and each one felt varied from the last (def upgrade to the goat curry from the set menu it was our fav of the night!!). We love sketch in manly and have been a few times so thought we should come and try their sister restaurant - we will definitely be back!!! The service was great even on a super busy night and the decor + lighting was beautiful both inside and outside; it definitely doesn’t feel like it’s in the industrial part of brookie even though it’s just off the main road!
Very expensive for what it is. We won’t go back sadly. Very excited to try this new place. Atmosphere is good. Service was fine. We ordered: kulcha bread - delicious! Lentil dumplings - delicious! School prawns, very tasty but get ready to eat legs and tails… not sure I was fan of this, some prawns were big enough to peel; Goat kebabs - at $24 you should get at least 4 but you only get 2 small kebabs, it’s not enough! Rice was $7, roti is $6 EACH, that’s super expensive! Chicken Rezala curry was very tasty but it was a drumstick and bone-in thigh piece, hardly enough for two, very stingy in terms of protein. Chef - you should use thighs fillets, and at least 3 for the price! Wine was $19 a glass… so two glasses $40… I could buy a bottle for that price! Sorry but location is the back of Brookie, the rent is not like Manly. It’s not fine dining in the industrial area and it’s too expensive to be “Indian tapas”.
If you’re looking for fantastic Indian food in Sydney with an incredible vibe, this is the place to be. We visited with a mixed group of vegetarians and non-vegetarians, and there were plenty of delicious options for everyone. I’d go back just for the Dahi bhalla, Seekh Kabab, Malvani fish, and especially the Chirote Shrikhand, a beautifully flaky pastry that was an absolute standout. A big shout-out to Chef Adwait for the impeccable dishes and to Kabir for creating such a vibrant spot in Brookvale.
Absolutely loved the vibe at Bazaar and Bar. We tried the Chicken 65, Dahi Vada, and Aloo Kulcha to start with, and everything was delicious. For the mains, the Kadhi Zucchini Flower Pakoda, Champaran Mutton, and Malvani Fish were all outstanding. Big shout-out to Chef Adwait for presenting Indian dishes in such a fresh and creative way. You can really taste the thought and effort behind each dish. Overall, great vibes, great music, and amazing food. Definitely worth a visit!
Loved this place! Super cozy vibes with great music that sets the mood but still lets you chat. The service was friendly and quick, and the drinks were spot on – definitely try their cocktails. The food was next level – fresh, full of flavor, and just the right amount of spice. Perfect spot for a date night or catching up with friends. Will definitely be back!
