I ordered their KFC- Korean fried chicken tossed in a sweet sticky sauce which came with rice, a fried egg and side salad. It was a generous serve and cooked well but it wasn't boneless chicken it was wings. I felt so cheated. Trying to eat Sticky wings with a knife and fork with rice, egg and salad just doesnt work. I barely managed to get any chicken- it was just a sticky mess so I gave up. Also I wish they'd put cucumber in the salad. Lovely staff and clean bistro. My friends got burgers and said they were delicious.
Hadn't been here in a while. I remembered I had a cocktail that tasted like bubblegum but couldn't remember what it was called and I couldn't see anything similar on the menu. I enquired at the bar and the lovely young lady knew exactly what I was talking about and said she'd be happy to make it even though it was no longer on the menu. The food was amazing, very big portions
Food was well priced with generous serving sizes, quality and flavour was ok but nothing to write home about. The bistro atmosphere was lacking. The staff were friendly but there was little service. No hellos or take a seat. Pub area did look nice but we moved on to a pub with more atmosphere. Has potential
I had a really good time at the Imperial Hotel! The food was pretty tasty overall, so I’d give it a solid 4 stars. My friend went for the seafood basket, and I tried the pasta (I’ve attached pics so you can see how delicious it looked!). The chips were great—crispy and tasty. But the battered fish was definitely the highlight. It was perfectly cooked, and a little extra seasoning made it amazing. However, I did feel the environment wasn't as safe as I'd hoped, especially with some guys drinking around. It wasn’t the best vibe for a relaxing meal. That said, the food was worth it, and I’d still say it’s a spot to check out. You won’t regret the food!
Love the pork knuckle! Actually 1st time get such thin and crunchy skin. We love it but do think it just need to have a little bit more flavour. The atmosphere is great and it felt very cosy.
