The Bank Hotel is a pub in East Maitland. We don't yet have enough signals to confirm whether dogs are allowed. It's best to check with the venue before visiting with your dog. Just 200m away, King Edward Park is a great nearby park for a walk with your dog.
Visited here recently on a Monday night. Has daily specials and a good menu selection, noting desert options are limited. Venues was nicely laid out and well presented. Staff all very positive, happy and helpful. Good amount of parking out the back. Limited beers on tap. Food was all great, steak was nicely cooked, schnitzel was crispy and sides good. One of us had the club sandwich which was thigh unfortunately and not described on the menu. Else was great and will be back.
It's a solid pub, good staff, decent parking and well appointed. Don't bother with the karaoke. Drive an hour in to wait 2 and a half more for a song. It's the same at all 'your the star' karaokes. They have filled their song list with their other karaoke hosts, friends and family before anyone turns up. I felt for Don the host as he was stuffed either way. He tried his best but in the end you may as well stay home. If you get a song in it's down to good luck more than good management.
Went here last saturday night to see Hayley Mary and Pinky Ring. the atmosphere was absolutely amazing and very immersive. The locals and staff were all very friendly and welcoming, as well as having good beers on tap. I would definitely come here again!
We ordered 250g steaks... They were tiny and extremely salty. I think they salted it twice. Chps was good, can't complain about that one but when you order steak, you want steak with chips on the side not chips with steak on the side. It was the second time this was happening, we didn't take it back and complain because when we did the first time the chef didn't take it well and he was huffing and puffing and saying things under his breath. So, I think for us that's it, we're not going back to this pub any time soon.
We decided to try the trivia night tonight & to have dinner. The staff in general were very nice & helpful. The atmosphere is great & is kid friendly. I ordered 3 meals - 1 x kids fish & chips, 1 x kids steak & chips & a lamb cutlets for myself. The kids meals are a great size but the fish was tasteless. Definitely needed more seasoning. My cutlets were soo small it would not have even weights 100g between the 2. The jus it comes with was very salty & had lumps. I think it might have just been the skin on top. When enquiring about my meal & the lack there of it, the young chef/cook was extremely rude. When I first mentioned it she rolled her eyes at me & just walked away. Then I grabbed another staff member who spoke to her & then she got very defensive & rudely told me I would need to speak to the manager. After speaking with 2 other staff members & the head chef they gave me an additional cutlet which was just as small as the other 2. I think I’m total the 3 cutlets would be lucky to weight 150g. I paid $34 for this meal that I would not have payed more then $15 for. I can honestly say my overall experience was ok but I do t think I will order dinner from there again.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
