What people say
Eastwood has been in need of a legit Thai place for so long and this might be it. Dishes were full of flavour and unapologetically spicy. We were brave and ordered the papaya salad with fermented fish and pickled crab which was by far one of the most interesting dishes I've ever tasted, and a clear signal of authenticity. We also had green curry with fried chicken and crispy fried pork belly, both textually satisfying and yum. Will def be back to try more of the menu!
10/10 !! I recently heard that a new Thai restaurant just opened. As a Thai person, I can honestly guarantee that the taste is 100% authentic ! just like back home! I personally love their boat noodles, stir-fried basil rice (pad kra pao Kluk), papaya salad, and green curry with fried chicken. Highly recommended! If you’re not used to very spicy food, I suggest letting the staff know your preferred spice level.they’re happy to adjust it for you. I will comeback 100% 🥰
Midday Tuesday was my visit. I didn't gamble or drink in my visit, so can't comment on those aspects of the place. Had 3 different sports programs playing across the screens - good diversity I think. The music playing through the speakers are kind of basic yet not songs I'd ever heard, but not necessarily unpleasant. Their menu photos are all AI generated, which was a negative for me. I had a taste of their Thai food, which is pretty decent and worth eating. Unfortunately, their chicken schnitzel/parmi is not good, and hasn't been since it first opened (though the food definitely has improved since my last visit a year or so ago). The meat was low quality. The chips are also bad. Do not get the chicken parmi or chips here, get the Thai food.
Utterly blown away by the quality and authenticity of the Thai restaurant here. Best Thai food I’ve eaten in Sydney. The gaming room is definitely worth a visit too. Very impressed overall. Well done team!
I’ve been to Thailand more than five times, and I can honestly say M District in Eastwood serves food that’s every bit as authentic as what I’ve tasted in Bangkok or Chiang Mai. From the first bite, you know it’s the real deal — bold flavours, perfect spice balance, and absolutely fresh ingredients. The pad Thai has that irresistible smoky “wok hei,” the curries are rich and complex, and every dish bursts with personality and care. What I love most is that they don’t water down the heat or sweetness for Western palates — it’s unapologetically Thai. Even the way the herbs and sauces come together feels straight out of the streets of Thailand. Add to that the friendly service and relaxed, modern atmosphere, and it’s easily the best Thai experience I’ve had in Australia — maybe even better than some meals in Thailand itself.
