What a gem! The Argyle Hotel combines old world charm with modern comfort. Beautifully renovated, spacious rooms, excellent food, brilliant location. We loved it and will be back .. a great spot to break up the trip to the Gold Coast.

We stayed here with our two two kids. We needed somewhere to sleep on our drive home to Melbourne from Noosa. It does the job based on the rate. There is a little bit of noise etc but that’s to be expected. We want to make a special mention of Taylor. We had a mix up with our booking which was initially really poorly handled but Taylor totally turned the whole thing around 180 degrees. Thanks so much, Taylor.

Stopped in for dinner and were greeted so warmly by the staff—what a great start! Wow, the food was amazing. We had the steak sandwich and the parmi, and we honestly couldn’t fault either of them. Definitely a place we’d return to.

Don’t stay here if you like sleep, my boyfriend booked a room to be near a wedding we were attending and we got back at 12am and music was blaring throughout the building. Overpriced for the room that was small which is fine but smelt weird and the bathroom needs an upgrade. Atmosphere was unsettling, outside, in the pub and in the room. We ended up leaving and driving home. Not a vibe wouldn’t recommend.

This is 5 star in the pub world. Staff are super friendly and really make it. The rooms are nice and revamped not that long ago, reasonably priced for the highlands. Food is excellent pub grub. All round with a stay and a few beers.
