I’ll admit I fell asleep outside (drank too much). Got woken up with a hard hit to the back of the head by the tough guy security guard. Called the person in charge and she did nothing. Tried to explain and the tough guy security guard grabbed me by the neck and choked me against the wall. If there’s a islander security guard who dyed his hair blonde then be careful, he’s a tough guy

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! ZERO CUSTOMER CARE OR LOYALTY. Have been coming here for years, new management is very rude to patrons… Accused of “loitering” in the games room. Newsflash, it’s not loitering if you’ve spent $1000 at the venue and are finishing your drinks while waiting for an uber to go home. No wonder why the place was empty. Fair enough if we were the type of people to cause a ruckus, but we were quietly waiting for our ride home. The games room was filthy too, empty bottles and cans everywhere. This is why myself and other regulars have moved on to new venues.

Overpriced food and drink. Staff that don't have a clue. Rotten carpet. Boring dead environment. No entertainment. Security that look at you like you're gum on their shoe. Outdated, mouldy smell. Don't bother. No stars if I could. You will be kicked out of the gaming room if you are standing with a friend because you're not spending money.

I'm so grateful for our short notice booking at Doonside Hotel. It wss a hard time for me and my whanau. We came to bury my only brother at Pine Grove. The staff were amazing, friendly and respectful. The cleaning service for our double rooms were awesome. I will book here again next time I'm in Penrith. Sydney - Thank you Doonside Hotel.

Love this spot, Staff are so lovely and helpful. They really do go above and beyond even when we were a bit of a pain. They cut us a second key, also came up and let us back in when locked ourselves out, let us check in super early with no extra charge. I have stayed there each year for the last 3 years. Pub feed was good and get a discount for staying there. So close to train station makes it easy to get around. Great value for money.
