A level up from X-Eskinita. If you are craving for authentic Lomi and Lugaw, this is the perfect place for you. Such a humble place, and I never felt away from home. Top-notch flavours, servings, and service are impeccable. Kudos to the new owner for bringing these real flavors here. It is a dog-friendly 🐶 and coffee is very good too. ☕️
X-Eskinita, now called Sunny Corner Cafe under new owner/manager. Food is mouth watering and how it looks is also how it taste - superbly yummilicious! Serving is generous! Its big which I thought I can't finish but I did! "Simot-Sarap"!! Very friendly new owner/manager too! We will come back for the silog & coffee, we heard a lot of good reviews on this too!
Don’t be fooled by its small size — Eskinita Café, right across from Doonside Station, is big in its offerings and flavours! We came as a party of seven (two families with three kids) and enjoyed a truly satisfying lunch. The place felt cozy and welcoming, and our table was soon filled with delicious Filipino favourites. The kids devoured the barbecue, garlic rice, crispy pata, and daing na bangus — every dish cooked beautifully. My husband and I especially loved the sisig, pancit, and perfectly cooked chopsuey with fresh, crunchy vegetables. And of course, no meal is complete without dessert — the kids were thrilled with their generously sized halo-halo, which was as refreshing as it was delicious! Service is topnotch, too - highly recommended.
Their tapsilog and tocilog taste good. Some spiced vinegar would have made it perfect. Their halo halo was yummy and a really huge serving even though the sago is missing.
Amazing little place right beside the Train station in Doonside, I ordered a Tomato and cheese roll with caramelised onion in a roll and it blew me away the simplicity of it but the flavours were beautiful and it was filling, great place to get a snack if your walking round the area!
