Decent spot up on the open rooftop area above Trinity. The carvery is up there on a Sunday, smelled so good. Quite busy on a nice day or when UFC is on the big screen. Easy walk from other pubs and bars, so as it to your pub crawl.

$40 for the Sunday carvery was a complete letdown. The meat was as dry as the desert of the far west, the sides totally bland and all blurred together, and the whole meal lacked flavour and care (the cauliflower cheese was like brown mash potatoes) What should have been a hearty Sunday roast felt more like an overpriced, cafeteria-style plate. Definitely not worth the hype and very disappointing - has Tilly May's cooks heard of salt before? Sorry guys but really disappointing and really unfair to charge a high price for utter disappointment. The only saving grace were the wonderful staff. Soz 😭

We had our baby shower here with 60+ people and the venue was amazing. They have a sun roof for natural light and the service was exceptional, the staff were so friendly and accommodating. We loved the food/canapés on the day and all guests kept saying how great the venue was. Perfect location right in Surry Hills. Highly recommend for your next event!

Several times have I passed by The Trinity and each time the general hubbub emanating from it has been quite alluring. So we gave into temptation and entered one dinner time. The ground floor was packed, but the bar tender advised us that upstairs was Tilly May's and that it was a treat and indeed it was. It has the real feel of yesteryear, albeit the music was somewhat loud. I suppose this gave a degree of privacy and the choice of music was inoffensive. We found ourselves a table and ordered. For me it was a chicken curry with crispy tofu. In all fairness the tofu was superfluous as the curry was a delight by itself. My wife had a Shepherds pie that apparently was tasty. All in all a lovely meal and evening.
