We visited the Glenmore Rooftop Bar on a Friday afternoon and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is definitely one of the highlights of this place. Being so close to the Harbour Bridge gives the rooftop a really nice atmosphere, and it’s a great spot to stop for a drink while exploring the area. The view and the historic surroundings make it feel very “Sydney” in a good way. The bar itself has a charming and slightly rustic character, which adds to the relaxed vibe. It doesn’t feel overly polished or fancy, but rather like a casual rooftop where people meet after work or stop by for a drink with friends. When we were there, there were quite a few after-work visitors and locals enjoying the afternoon, which gave the place an authentic and friendly atmosphere. The overall vibe was good and easygoing. It’s a nice place to sit for a while, have a drink, and enjoy the surroundings. While everything was perfectly fine, nothing particularly stood out as exceptional. The drinks and service were solid, but not especially memorable. That said, Glenmore Rooftop Bar works very well as a relaxed stop during a day in the city. Thanks to its great location near the Harbour Bridge and the laid-back atmosphere, it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area and looking for a casual rooftop drink. Overall, a good experience and a nice place to spend some time, even if it wasn’t the absolute highlight of our time in Sydney.

Got lucky and got a spot on the rooftop during lunchtime on the weekend! Good selection of drinks on tap. Unfortunately my parmi was lacking a little bit and the salad had no dressing, but just being picky… Otherwise, my dad got a schnitty and was satisfied so the food was overall good 👌🏻. Service was great 😊

Busy Venue on a Sunday due to its location and views. Fairly quick service with food and the food wasn't too bad. No one complained about it. Lots of different levels with bars. We secured our own small room which was good and moved to the rooftop once a table became available. Live music was loud up there but okay. Overall we all enjoyed our visit there and would go again.

So many better options for views and drinks if visiting or staying in the Rocks, and stick to beer. Location is great, building is historic, nice (but very crowded) rooftop, good service and presentation. But you can find much better rooftop views in many spots nearby. This was recommended as a place to try cocktails. I ordered a mojito, which I acknowledge is a bit my fault since isn't very standard. But it was really, really bad. I brought it up and the staff was very accommodating about remaking. The second one was the same thing, which just wasn't the right recipe. I don't think the bartender has made the drink before, or didn't sample it. It was just bad. It also took over 20 minutes for the first one to arrive. Definitely stick to beers if visiting. This place sorta felt like it's surviving on a reputation that peaked a few years after the building was made.

I had a lovely time at The Glenmore Hotel! The rooftop bar is definitely the highlight. The panoramic harbour and Opera House views are hard to beat, especially at sunset, and it’s a brilliant spot for drinks with mates or visitors to Sydney. The food was solid pub fare with generous portions, and the drink selection was great with plenty of beers on tap and tasty cocktails. The atmosphere was lively and fun, though it did get pretty busy, so I’d recommend booking ahead if you’re after the best rooftop seats. Service was friendly, but timing and food quality can vary on hectic weekends. Overall, a great choice for casual eats and drinks with a view, perfect for a laid-back afternoon or evening out in The Rocks.
