Had a nice time enjoying a meal in the section out the front of the venue with some friends. It’s definitely got that European summer dining vibe to it around this time of year. The service was okay (could have been more attentive with wine topping and general service) and the food was relatively good as well. Definitely think there’s always a premium added to eating in the Rocks in general, but this place does alright.
I had a feet-licious experience! Long story short, this is the best feet restaurant in Sydney. My feet-friends and I had a reservation at 5pm. We ordered the escargot and steak tartare for our entree, it was delightful. I got so excited when we got to try the escargot, the pesto sauce made me close my eyes and imagine I was brushing the tips of the basil leaves with my very toes. The steak tartare was the perfect one-bite experience and it made me perk up with its rawness. For our mains we ordered 2 le-foote burgers and 1 spatchcock. The burgers were the most wholesome feet experience manifested into the cuisine! The dynamic flavours of the onions, pickles, patty, bread and more, created the perfect feeticious orchestra in my mouth. Additionally, the spatchcock was moist and perfectly cooked, I felt like Anton Ego in Ratatouille getting his childhood flashback as I took the first bite. We also ordered chips but they were pretty basic ngl. The environment was incredible and allowed us to fully immersed ourselves in some intellectual discussions about feet, and humanitiy's connection to the earth through feet and food. The waiters were so kind and let us express our love for feet. They were very attentive and even though I accidentally said Baka to one of the waiters, he didn't mind and happily gave us the check. The female waiter we had also entertained us with our love of feet. However we did see the lack of feet decor disheartening, there was a lot of emphasis on faces and vases, but the only feet decoration we saw was unfortunately the logo. We felt it tingle. To top if off, my mate and I had a Gin & Tonic and it was the perfect compliment to finish off a plates and undercover feet-time. We also got served some nice still water to moisten up. We also were given free coasters as a nice feet-ful gift from the restaurant. Thanks! I recommend to set a reservation to get the best seats in the house for a private feet session. Without a doubt this is the BEST feet restaurant in Sydney! The food is worth the price if you love feet.
Stopped by during happy hour for food and drinks. The venue is cute with a lovely, date-friendly atmosphere. Staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. The burger was okay — it had good flavour, though the bun was a bit dry. Overall, an OK visit, and I’d be happy to return to try the dinner menu, but not rushing back.
Centrally located in the heart of the Rocks. Bigger than expected with outdoor front and back and upstairs dining also. So we were a bit surprised that when we booked a counter top seating at the bar we were seated in a corner place against a side wall. We had a well paced meal that started with French Onion Soup. I can never go past a French Onion Soup from a traditional French Restaurant and I was not disappointed, it was delicious. We followed that up with the Murray Cod. The fish came out with just a half of lemon that was to firm to squeeze. The fish itself for $75 was quite tasteless. My partner had for his main the Tiger Prawn dish which was $48 that equates to $16 per prawn and whilst delicious that was all that was on the plate so not very filling for the price. Sides were a very tasty bean dish and some simple pom frites that filled the void. Finished with an excellent crème brûlée that was a good size for sharing. Paul our French waiter was very knowledgeable when discussing the menu and helped us with a fabulous wine choice. The restaurant seemed busy to me but Paul was relaxed and looked to be enjoying his job and was passionate about his guests having a great experience. Some, staff seemed a bit rushed and harried. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. I found the music to be a little loud in such a small area. I occasionally found intrusive.
What a dining experience, Saturday lunch at Le Foote. I could not fault the food. Entrees 10/10 with the Beef Tartare and Escargot were the stand outs (pictured) , Mains 10/10 the Steak was cooked perfectly as ordered (pictured) the fries were good, salad was 50/50 not the best not the worst, but everything else made up for it and more. We were well looked after on the beverage side, drinks were cold and water was always topped up. Finally the service, absolutely astonishing, Garçon Jake was an absolute pleasure to have waiting our table, he was accommodating and inviting making you feel like you were a guest in his own house, always making sure everything was up to scratch. if i had to go out to eat i wish he could be my waiter every single time. Atmosphere was exceptional, what started as a quiet 12:30 seating turned into a vibrant energy circulating the restaurant. I will definitely be back again. Thank you to the team for a wonderful day and dining experience
