We booked for the Monday night dinner session as a friend recommended the $35 steak and fries. It was fantastic! And excellent value. The sirloin size is generous as are the fries - really good seasoning on the fries. And the herb butter on the steak elevated it to the next level. Good choices for non-alcoholic cocktails 🍸 The seats are super comfy and lounge. The dining room has a lot of natural light, it’s a lovely setting. The front of the bar has moody library vibes. Great for bar snacks and drinks

Came here on a quiet Sunday during the holiday season. It was just perfect. The dining room is lovely and peaceful, the service is exceptional and the food was 10/10. I also had a mini martini which was just divine. We finished the meal with another mini cocktail in the bar whilst watching the cricket. Highly recommend this restaurant and pub.

The last time I was here, Bob Hawke was congratulating the Wallabies for beating the All Blacks at Eden Park. (For the non Rugby people that was 1986). Wonderful interiors, great food and great service. A particularly thank you to our waiterJacob. The perfect wedding reception for our son Matthew and now daughter in law Jessica. Also suitable for birthdays and other special family events. Highly recommended

Hotel Centennial has become our family's favourite restaurant over the years. The atmosphere is always welcoming, and the service is consistently lovely. Our kids absolutely love the flatbread – it’s a must-have every time we visit! We've celebrated our son Alex's birthday here three years in a row, and each time has been just as special as the last. The staff go out of their way to make the experience enjoyable, and the wine selection is always excellent. Thank you for being a place where we’ve made so many wonderful memories. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
