Buckle Cafe Distillery

What a great find! Buckle Cafe Distillery- we were there on the weekend for an early dinner birthday celebration with friends. Fabulous food & great selection of beers & cocktails. Choice to sit indoors or outside in the beer garden or courtyard area. Great venue for group gatherings, families or private functions. We will definitely be back!

The food quality improved a lot since my last visit. The pizza, wings and prawn pasta were delicious. The only thing was sometimes the available tables / baby chairs aren’t clean.

Visited yesterday for the first and unfortunately last time. There was only one other customer waiting, yet the service was awkward and unwelcoming. The woman behind the counter barely acknowledged me, avoided eye contact, and I had to prompt just to order a coffee. She pointed at the EFTPOS terminal without explanation and seemed unwilling to serve me until I walked around the counter to where it was, which was not obvious at all and less than 5 feet from where I was standing… could you maybe take my order and THEN point tot be payment system to say it’s ready to pay? The croissant was cold and hard, like it had come straight from the fridge. I asked beforehand if it was soft and was told yes, so I declined heating it as I don’t like warmed croissants. It clearly wasn’t fresh. I then waited around 10 minutes for a coffee in an empty cafe, which is honestly unacceptable. Busy places with lines out the door manage coffees in a few minutes. When the coffee finally arrived, it was brought out by a guy who hadn’t been around earlier and he was friendly and polite, which helped a little, but not enough to undo the experience. Hospitality was seriously lacking that morning. For my first visit, it left a very poor impression, and I won’t be returning. Also $16.50 for a coffee and croissant ??? Daylight robbery.

Buckle is a great place to have your party, event or to come for a meal and drinks with your friends and family. We held our baby shower here and the staff were all very helpful, amd helped us reserve a space to setup our function, very kind and friendly staff, the food was all delicious and generous sizes and the drinks are superb. It has a lovely relaxed atmosphere, we had lots of children with our group and there are lots of areas for them to have fun and play safely. I highly recommend.

The service was outstanding – friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and perfect for enjoying a great meal and drinks. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing food, great vibes, and excellent hospitality. I’ll definitely be coming back!
