Bartender with a moustache is an absolute legend made my whole week. Definitely coming back because of this one due, good beer and burgers as well. Great deals.
We had an end of year event for about 20 people for the second year in a row and were very pleased. The advanced booking and pre-order was good and efficient. The staff quickly organised tables inside as we were not keen to sit outside. Food was good with options for vegetarians. We will probably return next year
We came here for our staff end of year dinner today. The food was great and the staff were excellent. Stella was a standout with fabulous customer service. It’s a really nice venue that worked well for our group of 20 people.
Went for the $22 Monday night steak special. It was terrific, a perfect medium for me and a perfect medium rare for my wife. Love the skin on chips and the red wine jus was divine. Lovely decor and very clean. Will definitely be back Went back the next day for the chicken parmi special. It was also trivia night so it was quite lovely. The parmi had high quality chicken and ham, and the sauce ratio was perfect. There was a lot of cheese, but I didn't mind this at allm highly recommended. Been back a few times now, the chicken and leek pie is amazing, I think they use the rotisserie chicken in the pie.
Quality & Taste: The fish & chips are highly recommended, and they offer a good selection of local tap beers. Service: The staff were friendly and attentive. Price & Value: Prices are typical for a hotel pub. Atmosphere & Ambiance: The lighting is a bit bright. Location: Very close to St. Leonards station.
