What people say
Manning Bar is one of the smaller venues but it's intimate. You can really get up close with the band or act you're seeing. There's also enough room to stand back and separate yourself off the floor if being in the crowd isn't your thing. And there's an outdoor area as well. Bar has good drinks. I didn't get to try the food though so no comment. Fun location.
Manning bar is a small university venue where we saw some great music acts! Fun environment with great energy!
I have no idea how many times and how many shows I've seen at Manning Bar. It's a great music venue, with excellent space and acoustics, and always well-attended. I recommend it!
Within the USYD grounds, this bar hosts some great events, with a stage upstairs for local bands to perform. It’s really good and you can get very close to the band members as they perform.
Went and saw Cog Play over the weekend, was a great show. The venue itself isn't bad. Three levels and different set ups depending on the show happening. Was $10.50 for a beer but what can you do in Sydney but still ridiculous. Seemed clean and well maintained however.
